On May 6, 1993, plaintiff Orena Dent gave a joint and several general power of attorney to her sister, defendant Lula Wright, and her nephew, defendant J.L. Wright, Jr. Lula Wright is the mother of J.L. Wright, Jr. On the same day plaintiff opened a joint bank account in her and her sister's names.
