Plaintiff, pro se, brought an action against defendant for unpaid wages, vacation time and commissions in the circuit court of Cook County pursuant to the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 48, par. 39m-11, now 820 ILCS 115/11 (West 1992)).
