Appellant (stepfather) seeks review of the trial court's dismissal of his motion to modify petitioners' (mother and father's) dissolution judgment to allow him visitation with his stepchild. We reverse and remand.

Father and mother's marriage was dissolved in July 1987. They were awarded joint custody of child. Mother was given physical custody, and father was given specified visitation. In December 1987, mother married stepfather....
