In this defamation case, the trial court separated the issues of liability and damages for trial. A jury verdict determined the liability issue in favor of the plaintiff. The defendant argues on appeal from that verdict that the publications in suit did not defame this public official plaintiff, that they were not false, and that they were privileged. We have jurisdiction of this non-final appeal. We reverse and remand for the entry of judgment in favor...
