This appeal involves three lawsuits brought by the same plaintiff ("Williams" or "appellee") over the same automobile accident. The first one ("Civil Action")1 named appellant Newman, then a minor, as defendant. The second suit ("Small Claims Action")2 named Newman, still a minor, and his mother and owner of the car ("Vandenberg" or "appellant") as defendants...
