Plaintiff, Harold Manuel, and defendant, Shell Oil Company (Shell) appeal from a judgment in a personal injury case involving exposure to benzene concentrate, a toxic chemical. Shell appeals from the denial of its request for a jury trial, liability and damages. Plaintiff appeals from the award of damages. We affirm because defendant failed to timely perfect its jury request and the trial judge was neither manifestly erroneous in her liability finding...
