The question presented in this appeal is whether a request for findings of fact and conclusions of law operates to extend the appellate timetable when the judgment from which the appeal is taken is an order of dismissal that was rendered without an evidentiary hearing. We hold that it does not and dismiss the appeal for want of jurisdiction because appellant has filed no cost bond and has failed to file his motion to extend...
