JACKSON v. STATE

CR-93-391.

686 So.2d 426 (1995)

Cornelius JACKSON v. STATE.

Court of Criminal Appeals of Alabama.

March 24, 1995.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Bo Burke, Birmingham (appointed 6/2/94), for appellant.

Cornelius Jackson, pro se.

Jeff Sessions, Atty. Gen., Shirley Brown and Robin Blevins, Asst. Attys. Gen., for appellee.

McMILLAN, Judge.

The appellant was convicted of robbery in the first degree and was sentenced to 35 years' imprisonment. That sentence was to run concurrently with the sentence imposed in another case, CC-91-1537.

The appellant argues that the trial court erred in finding that he did not establish a prima facie case of racial discrimination or gender-based discrimination in the prosecutor's exercising of his peremptory challenges during jury selection.
