Cornelius Martin appeals from denial of his petition for post-conviction relief, raising four issues:

1. Whether the jury in Martin's trial was improperly instructed on the offense of attempted murder; 2. Whether the jury's verdicts were inconsistent; 3. Whether error occurred because the record does not reflect that the alternate juror was admonished not to participate in deliberations; and
