Israel Michael Davis2 was indicted in counts one and three with aggravated rape, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:42(A)(2), (3), and (5), and in counts two and four with aggravated kidnapping, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:44(1). He filed a motion to suppress statements and evidence. The court denied the motion, and, pursuant to a plea agreement, defendant pled guilty to the two counts of aggravated rape, reserving his right to appeal...
