On Saturday, May 12, 1990, at approximately 5:22 a.m., Anthony J. Manzella was driving his 1984 Chevrolet El Camino on I-610 East near the Elysian Fields Avenue exit ramp. Mr. Manzella was injured when his vehicle was rear-ended by a 1989 Chevrolet pick up owned by the City of New Orleans and assigned to the New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB).
