CARROLL, Chief Justice.

The Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (the "Department"), appellee, sought termination of the parental rights of appellant Edna Spurlock. See Tex. Fam.Code Ann. § 15.024 (West Supp.1995).1 After a bench trial, the district court ordered the requested relief. We will affirm the trial-court judgment.
