BRIGHAM, Justice.

Appellant George Copeland, plaintiff below, appeals a summary judgment in favor of the Tarrant Appraisal District and Tarrant Appraisal Review Board. In his sole point of error, appellant claims the trial court erred in granting appellees' Motion for Summary Judgment because appellant's surviving spouse life estate is a residence homestead entitled to the tax exemption set out in the Texas Constitution and the Texas Tax Code.
