In this appeal, we are asked to decide whether a district court properly denied a motion to suppress evidence based on a claim that Miranda warnings were not given or were improperly given and that the defendant's confession was coerced. We also must decide whether a fifteen-year sentence, with a minimum period of confinement of five years, for sexual abuse of a minor was an abuse of discretion and whether a defendant should have been allowed to withdraw...
