CAYCE, Chief Justice.

In this consolidated appeal, the State of Texas complains of trial court orders granting Luis Adalberto Solar's and Fidencia Urtado's applications for writ of habeas corpus. Solar and Urtado contended that their criminal prosecutions for aggravated possession of cocaine are barred under double jeopardy principles because they had previously been parties to a civil in rem forfeiture proceeding.
