Defendant-appellant William Apilando, Sr. appeals his conviction and sentence for sexual assault in the third degree following a jury trial. On appeal, Apilando primarily alleges a violation of his constitutional right of confrontation and to due process, stemming from videotaped testimony by the complainant presented at trial in lieu of direct examination.
