BIRCH, Justice.

In May 1990, as a result of convictions for felonious possession of a firearm1 and concealing stolen property exceeding $200 in value,2 the trial court sentenced Tommy E. Patty, the appellee, to two years for each offense — a total of four years. Except for two months in jail, the rest of the sentence was suspended with Patty on probation.
