A routine traffic stop on Interstate Highway 10 ultimately yielded 2.5 pounds of cocaine powder. Defendant, driver of the vehicle, was convicted and sentenced in this court for violating 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). Prior to his trial, the Defendant moved to suppress the cocaine.
