In the afternoon of November 2, 1990 Rocco Ferrara, an informant working with the Town of Colonie Police Department in Albany County, made a telephone call to defendant's stepfather, Hector (also known as Ramon) Pino, to arrange for the purchase of one gram of cocaine.
