On January 19, 1993, defendant, Genie Robinson, was arrested after selling crack cocaine for $50 to a confidential informant working for the Richland Parish Sheriff's Office. Thereafter, defendant was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(A). On September 10, 1993, defendant pled guilty to a reduced charge of simple possession of cocaine and was sentenced as a second felony offender to three years...
