The government appeals from the district court's judgment granting Ricky Allen Ridl's motion for a reduction of his sentence originally imposed in September 1991. The district court granted the reduction based on a 1992 amendment to U.S.S.G. § 3E1.1, which provides for an additional one-level reduction for acceptance of responsibility in cases where the base offense level is 16 or greater.
