In this appeal we must determine if a court of common pleas has the authority to enter a judgment non pros pursuant to a local rule of civil procedure which contravenes the statewide rules of civil procedure. Because the local rule is inconsistent with the statewide rules, the local rule is invalid, rendering the order entering judgment non pros void. We, therefore, vacate the order...
