Lloyd Glen Smith, a Dow Chemical Company employee from 1974 to 1988, filed suit against Dow, and a number of Dow employees and supervisors,1 in 1989 alleging injury from exposure to vinyl chloride and other chemicals during the time period that he worked on the loading docks at Dow (1970 to 1974).
