In January 1993, a jury found defendant, Henry Scott, guilty of residential burglary (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 19-3) and robbery of a person 60 years of age or over (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 18-1).
