Plaintiff William Robertson, Jr., filed this action against defendant Danny Ray Nelson to recover damages for injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident which occurred on 28 September 1987. His wife, Monika, joined in the suit claiming damages for loss of consortium. Defendant stipulated that his negligence was a proximate cause of the collision.
