This is a prosecutor's appeal by leave granted. The people appeal from an order of the Detroit Recorder's Court reversing defendant's conviction and remanding to the 36th District Court for a new trial on the basis that certain statements and paperwork made by defendant were involuntary and, therefore, improperly admitted at trial.
