OXY USA, Inc., (Oxy) instituted this declaratory judgment action against Colorado Interstate Gas Company (CIG) and Virgil K. Watson, Jeffrey J. Watson, John D. Watson, Kim W. Watson, and Virgil E. Watson (Watsons). Oxy asked for a determination that CIG was responsible for the payment of one-half of the costs of producing gas from a certain gas well in Haskell County, known as the "Watson E" gas well. Oxy and CIG both filed motions for summary judgment...
