The appellant, Mickey Adams, was convicted of the unlawful distribution of controlled substances in violation of § 13A-12-211, Code of Alabama 1975. He was sentenced to 20 years in the penitentiary.

The state's evidence tended to show that on October 28, 1992, the appellant sold 5.45 grams of marijuana to Greg Howell, an agent of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, who was working undercover in Florida...
