The corporate defendant contracted to construct a single family home for the plaintiffs. The house was finished in October 1985 and the plaintiffs took possession. Two years later, in October 1987, the plaintiffs commenced this action to recover damages for negligent construction. The complaint contained one cause of action, sounding in negligence....
