Following a bench trial, Carol J. Hardy was convicted for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. The issues on appeal are (1) whether Hardy has standing to object to the search of the vehicle he was driving, and (2) whether the police conducted a valid consent search of the automobile's trunk.
