The appellant, Douglas Lee Henshaw, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in a jury trial and was sentenced to ten years in the penitentiary. In two motions, he requested access to the private residence of Clay Dabney Snow for the purpose of inspecting, photographing, and taking measurements of the purported crime scene.
