Christina Kepple, while pregnant with Tiffany Kepple, was injured in an automobile collision in December 1989. Christina, on her own behalf and on behalf of Tiffany, and Wade Kepple, her husband (the Kepples), thereafter filed a personal injury action against the owner and operator of the other vehicle involved in the accident.
