GARDEBRING, Justice.

This appeal arises from a 1982 default paternity adjudication declaring respondent, Larry Lee Eishen, the father of appellant Mary Ellen Peterson's daughter. In 1991 Eishen moved to vacate the default judgment of paternity and subsequent orders for child support based on lack of jurisdiction due to inadequate service of process. A family court referee denied his motion, but the district court reversed and vacated the judgment...
