The appellant, Unree Pollinitz, was indicted for theft of property in the second degree, a violation of § 13A-8-4, Code of Alabama 1975. He entered a plea of guilty to the charge, and the trial court sentenced him to 15 years in prison. Pollinitz applied for probation, but the trial court denied the request.
