Searcy appeals from his conviction by a jury for the offense of rape.

The victim testified that she went with Searcy and his brother "to get some cocaine" but, instead, they both beat and raped her. A physician who examined the victim the night of the attack testified that she had injuries consistent with her description of the beating.
