Defendant Jeffrey Varney appeals from a judgment entered in the Superior Court (Kennebec County, Perkins, J.) on a jury verdict, convicting him of gross sexual assault, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 253 (Supp.1993). Varney contends that the court erred in denying his motion for a bill of particulars and his motion in limine, and committed obvious error in its comment on a defense exhibit and in its jury instructions...
