PARKER, Justice.

Defendant, Charles Ray Smith, was tried noncapitally upon a proper bill of indictment charging him with the murder of Berry La-Mark Bowser, later determined to be Barry Lamont Bowser. The jury found defendant guilty of first-degree murder and the trial court entered judgment sentencing him to life imprisonment. Defendant appeals to this Court as a matter of right.
