We granted certiorari in this case to consider whether Shaheen & Company's garnishment action against NationsBank as garnishee and Fasteners, Inc. as defendant was subject to the automatic stay provisions of the Bankruptcy Code, 11 USC § 362 (a). We hold that the garnishment action was subject to the automatic stay and reverse.
