This case requires us to decide whether the trial court properly determined the scope and extent of the prescriptive right-of-way of the defendants, Joseph and Alene LeVasseur, over land owned by the plaintiffs, Donald L. and Betty Jo Somers. The defendants appealed from the judgment of the trial court to the Appellate Court. We transferred their appeal to this court pursuant to Practice Book § 4023 and General Statutes § 51-199 (c).
