Muriel and Anthony Bechtel appeal the order awarding attorney fees to Amber and Randall Roberts as expenses for opposing a frivolous counterclaim, RCW 4.84.185. Ms. Bechtel contends (1) the release and stipulation in settlement of the claims precluded a claim for attorney fees; (2) Ms. Roberts was not a prevailing party; and (3) the counterclaim was not frivolous.
