Appellant Michael Reed, while a juvenile, was charged with criminal homicide. He filed a petition pursuant to 42 Pa.C.S. § 6322(a) to have the homicide charge transferred to the juvenile division of the Court of Common Pleas. The trial court denied the petition after a hearing, and appellant was tried as an adult and convicted of murder in the first degree.
