The defendant was convicted of three drug trafficking offenses after attempting to sell one and one-half kilograms of cocaine to an acquaintance-turned-government - informant. His arrest for the failed deal led to a search of an apartment (apparently his) where marijuana, cocaine and drug mixing equipment, among other things, were found.
