MUNSON, J.

Curtis Guy Stump appeals his conviction of first degree perjury (RCW 9A.72.020). He contends the court erred both in finding he knew the statement to be false and in finding the statement was material.

On October 17 and 18, 1991, Mr. Stump was tried on charges he had burglarized the apartment of a prior girlfriend, Jill Phillips. The perjury charge against Mr. Stump arose from statements he made during that trial. The outcome of the burglary trial...
