The issue before the Court is whether the Debtors' discharges should be denied pursuant to § 727(a)(3) of the Bankruptcy Code for failure to keep or preserve records, 11 U.S.C. § 727(a)(3). The Debtor, Alan Vandewoestyne, was in the business of buying and selling hogs (BUSINESS). His son, Brett Vandewoestyne, also a Debtor, participated in the operation of the BUSINESS.1...
