This is a sufficiency of the evidence case grounded on a claim that the defendant's confession was uncorroborated. Kenneth Waddell was convicted by a jury of aggravated sexual battery, K.S.A. 21-3518, and felony murder, K.S.A. 1992 Supp. 21-3401(a)(1). Our jurisdiction is under K.S.A. 1993 Supp. 22-3601(b)(1) (direct appeal if the conviction is a class A felony or if a maximum sentence of life imprisonment...
