The defendant, Arthur J. Taggart, was convicted of five counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill.Rev.Stat.1985, ch. 38, par. 12-14 (now codified, as amended, at 720 ILCS 5/12-14 (West 1992)) and was sentenced to concurrent terms of 30 years' imprisonment for each of four counts and to a consecutive term of 15 years' imprisonment for the fifth count.
