Plaintiff's first assignment of error is that the trial court erred by denying plaintiff's motion for post-judgment interest on the treble damages portion of its judgment from the date of judgment until paid. Plaintiff bases its argument on an exhaustive review of the legislative history of N.C.Gen. Stat. § 24-5(b) (1991).
