Justice RIZZI delivered the opinion of the court:

Following a bench trial, defendant, Willie Mason, was convicted of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (Ill. Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 56½, par. 1401(a)(2)), and sentenced to 18 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. We affirm.
