This is an appeal by the McDowell County Emergency Ambulance Authority, Inc., and by Continental Casualty Company, from a final judgment entered on March 1, 1993, by the Circuit Court of McDowell County in a personal injury action. The circuit court ruled that the plaintiff below, and the appellee in the present proceeding, Sadie Cook, who was acting as committee for her daughter, and as next friend for her grandchildren, was entitled to recover $1,000...
