Augustin Carrillo appeals his conviction on one count of distribution of controlled substances, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841. He contends that the district court erred in (1) admitting police mugshots that were used to bolster the validity of the police identification and (2) refusing to allow cross-examination of a police officer concerning his ability to identify defendants in other unrelated cases.
